From a young age, he showed an interest in craftsmanship, working in his father’s blacksmith workshop. A self-taught artist, he approached painting through personal readings and research. In the 1970s, he joined the cultural group Criada 74, participating in socio-cultural projects and showcasing his work in individual and group exhibitions.
